The unique selling point of this programme incorporates the strong partnership University Centre Weston has developed with Puxton Park. You will experience a practical provision that is an active working business. In addition to this, Puxton Park have a wide range of species held for conservation projects, agricultural and domestic purposes, providing students with the opportunity to work with a variety of species in a range of contexts.

• Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - MPP

We try to ensure that all as many costs for the programme you will study will be included within your tuition fees. We will endeavour to keep any additional costs you may have to pay to a minimum and some of the extra costs may be considered optional where it is deemed extra to your programme.

Additional Costs that will need to be incurred to study your programme:

• Each student on the BSc (Hons) Public and Environmental Health and BSc (Hons) Environmental Health Practitioner could incur
• If you attend lectures online you will need to have suitable computer hardware, including microphone and camera.
• If you attend lectures online there will be two activities which require your attendance at the college, these may incur travel and accommodation costs, and they are:

In year 1 a 2/3-day microbiology workshop

In year 2 the 2-day practical food inspection training and 1 day examination

Additional costs that you may incur should you wish to:

• There are two other activities in year 1 and year 2 which you may attend but they are voluntary. However, if you do attend these may incur travel costs.
• Whilst UCW endeavours to cover all costs of materials, there may be additional costs for specialist materials and additional consumables. Depending on your choice of dissertation subject it may be necessary to buy consumable materials.
